Montreal, February 15, 2023 – MT Lab is pleased to announce the arrival of the Ville de Mont-Tremblant as its first major partner in the Laurentian region. With this three-year, $150,000 agreement, the Ville de Mont-Tremblant intends to position itself as a key reference in the Laurentians for the development of innovative solutions in sustainable tourism, culture and entertainment.

This agreement is fully in line with the vision of the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan | Destination 2030 and the Ville de Mont-Tremblant’s desire to diversify economic activity on its territory in order to attract non-polluting businesses in emerging sectors of activity compatible with tourism, vacationing and nature.

As North America’s leading innovation incubator for the world of tourism, culture and entertainment, the MT Lab continues to grow through the lens of sustainable tourism, thanks to this new partnership with Mont-Tremblant. Today, MT Lab supports both the tourism industry and start-ups, including Locapaq, Hôtel UNIQ and Navette Nature.

Like the other major MT Lab partners, Mont-Tremblant will contribute both financially and in terms of human resources to the incubator-accelerator’s year-round activities. In particular, the town will be responsible for selecting start-up companies for the MT Lab’s National Incubation Program, some of whose innovation solutions could meet its own challenges and needs. It will also join the Innovators’ Circle, which fosters the exchange of expertise and ideas, and thus benefit from access to a wider business network within the tourism ecosystem.

Those interested in benefiting from MT Lab’s support within the Incubation Program over the next year must complete the form and submit their application before February 19, 2023.
