Montreal, April 3, 2023 – The MT Lab, North America’s first incubator-accelerator of innovations in tourism, culture and entertainment, is proud to announce thatithas received funding of $1.25 million over three years from the Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie (MEIE).
The MT Lab stood out in the MEIE’s call for proposals Support for organizations offering incubation and acceleration services , notably for its recognized success and performance with innovative startups, its positioning and collaboration with other ecosystem players, and its social impact and commitment to sustainable development.
“Incubator-accelerators contribute to the development of a dynamic entrepreneurial environment and help ensure its sustainability. Quebec’s ecosystem of high-growth-potential companies benefits greatly from MT Lab’s support,” emphasizes Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of the Economy, Innovation and Energy, Minister responsible for Regional Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Greater Montreal Area.
