MT Lab, in collaboration with Tourisme Montréal and the Ministry of Tourism of Quebec, is preparing to launch a call for solutions supported by a $100,000 grant.
The goal is clear: to test an innovative solution that enables better analysis and management of visitor flows during large, open-access public events.
Objective of the Call
Public events—such as festivals or cultural gatherings—generate massive visitor flows that are difficult to identify, measure, or direct. Unlike controlled environments, these spaces require tailored solutions for real-time data collection, predictive modeling, and dynamic resource management. This call aims to:
- Better understand the profile and behavior of visitors in an event and tourism context
- Improve visitor circulation, experience, and safety
- Support technological innovation in the tourism sector
