Équinox Aventure is a travel agency specializing in promoting the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. It accomplishes this by proposing personalized itineraries that showcase the various lesser-known local attractions, taking into account individual preferences. She prioritizes natural attractions by promoting outdoor activities such as snowmobiling, biking and water sports.

Project summary

Équinox Aventure launches a more efficient online sales and booking platform to attract and retain tourists to its region. The new digital interface will be able to manage multiple itineraries and carry out transactions from within the platform, making it easier for inexperienced visitors to organize a trip. It’s an initiative that encourages receptive travel and will make the region competitive by creating greater retention and appreciation of some of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean’s lesser-known attractions.

The challenge

It’s important for museums and permanent attractions to renew themselves to attract new audiences. Innovative ideas from companies such as Stimulation Déjà-Vu are making such stations a reality.

Today, to stand out from the crowd, you need to employ innovative ideas and use technology to enhance the customer experience.

The solution

This unique exhibition offers the opportunity to immerse oneself in the marine world in a different way, and shows a new perspective on the exploration of aquatic environments.

The EAU’DORAT exhibition contains :

  • a varied olfactory station with information;
  • the opportunity to immerse yourself sensorially in the life of a polar bear and a shark, to become aware of their way of life;
  • marketing this exhibition to attract new visitors.

The service provider

Reslynx is a cloud-based hotel property management system (PMS) developed by Guestline and designed for hotels, inns, serviced apartments and other tourist accommodation establishments. The reservation planner can be configured by users. Individual user accounts can be customized to give quick access to the features most commonly used by each user.

Results and findings

The exhibition was much appreciated by visitors and generated a great deal of enthusiasm. Good media coverage also helped to highlight the efforts and create excitement.

If we had to do it all over again, the materials would be chosen more for their durability, since we had to change several parts.
