Each new year brings its share of learning. 2020 required us to adapt quickly. The MT Lab shares with you the successes of 3 of its incubated startups.
The partners had selected last April the 15 startups that would form the 4th cohort of the MT Lab's incubation program in 2020-2021. Many of them have demonstrated their agility by deploying pilot projects or turnkey solutions in the current new health context of the industry.
BRITE4 – This company, which designs and markets smart vending machines, was able to respond quickly to a specific need at the Montreal Airport by installing mask dispensers at the entrance to the airport doors for travellers who forgot their mask when they arrived at their destination.

Leav – This company offers contactless payment through its web platform without prior registration. It tested the effectiveness of its solution during the holiday season by opening a Pop-Up Store at the Eaton Centre. Thanks to the optimal use of data and RFID technology, it has demonstrated the effectiveness of the contactless transactional experience in a secure and hassle-free environment. The Mayor's Foundation: The Montréal Inc. of tomorrow has just awarded him a scholarship of more than $10,000.
Pack It Up – This company's mission is to offer a range of unique and memorable gifts sent in the form of boxes allowing you to experience original turnkey activities. During the holiday season, Pack It Up brilliantly renewed the notion of experience for several Quebec companies that had to cancel their office festivities, but still wanted to use their event budget to celebrate remotely with their employees. Whether it's mixology or apprentice chocolatier kits, these gift boxes made to measure for the employer have created warm moments between employees despite the cold and distance.
