The MT Lab thanks the City of Montreal for its support of $200,000 over 2 years

The MT Lab thanks the City of Montreal for a contribution of $200,000 to the MT Lab over the next two years. This direct support for the incubator specializing in tourism will promote networking initiatives with large companies.

"We are enabling the tourism ecosystem to benefit from startup innovation to better meet the post-COVID needs of travelers. Montreal is a city adored by tourists. We want to enable our key players to plan for the resumption of their activities, when possible," explained Luc Rabouin, Executive Committee member responsible for economic and commercial development and design

The first startup incubator dedicated to tourism, culture and entertainment in North America, the MT Lab is also a meeting point between startups and the Quebec tourism community. Over the past few years, it has been able to count on a dozen major partners in the tourism, culture and entertainment sectors to support its efforts and outreach.

This financial assistance will help support the MT Lab to allow it to continue to play an active role in the recovery of tourism, along with the tourism, culture and entertainment industry.

"I would like to thank the City of Montréal for this contribution. This is an important recognition of the MT Lab as well as the actions it has taken in recent years. All of this will allow the MT Lab to consolidate its status as a leader in the tourism industry in innovation in Montreal," said Pierre Bellerose, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the MT Lab.
