What is the Imprint+ program?

Are you developing a sustainable solution and want to accelerate its adoption? 

The Empreinte+ program allows you to test your proposal directly with the tourism, cultural and entertainment industry for free. You will be able to validate its potential, strengthen it and better position it thanks to concrete support and unique networking opportunities.

Three regional themes guide this approach:
– Decarbonization – Quebec City Region
– Regenerative Innovation – Abitibi-Témiscamingue
– Tourism Social Innovation – Mauricie

Empreinte+ is aimed at tourism businesses and startups whose projects are in the prototyping or pre-commercialization phase ready to take the next steps in their growth while helping to build a more responsible and innovative tourism.

The program includes

  • Group workshops : responsible business strategy, financing, marketing, sustainable tourism, impact measurement, etc
  • Diagnosis and support : definition of needs and objectives, individually and in groups.
  • Personalized coaching : followed by experts, adapted to your development plan
  • Workspaces : access to the MT Lab offices.
  • Networking opportunities : pitches, lunch & learn, demo day, reverse pitches and events with the ecosystem.

Other Program Specifications

  • The program takes place over a period of 4 to 6 months
  • Hybrid mode that combines virtual and face-to-face meetings (depending on the region)
  • All workshops and coaching are offered in French
  • The program is accessible to all Quebec startups and tourism stakeholders in the region associated with the chosen theme

Eligibility criteria

  • Be legally incorporated in Québec or Canada and registered with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec;
  • Be in the validation or pre-marketing phase;
  • Have at least one team member working in Quebec for the duration of the program;
  • Not be owned in a proportion of 50% or more by other existing companies or organizations;
  • Own the rights to use the intellectual property of their product or service.
You don't have to be part of the tourism, culture and entertainment sector to innovate!

Selection

A jury composed of experts in entrepreneurship, tourism and sustainable development will select up to 5 companies per theme, according to:

  • The relevance of the solution to the industry's sustainable priorities.
  • The solidity of the business model (social, environmental, economic).
