The Explore France program returns from October 12 to 17, 2025. Explore the French tourism market for a week accompanied by our partner Open Tourisme Lab, take part in the national e-tourism meetings in Pau, meet potential customers from the French tourism industry and develop a network on site.

$1000 per company payable to the MT Lab upon signing of the Memorandum of Understanding if you are selected for the program

Upstream: onboarding session and workshop Business culture in France

To apply, you must:

  1. Complete and submit the application form by August 16 at 11:59 p.m.
  2. Insert the following 2 documents into the form:
    • your pitch-video (in MP4 format / maximum duration of 4 min)
    • your presentation deck (in PowerPoint format / 15 slides maximum)

From France to Quebec

The program from France to Quebec will take place from October 14 to 18, 2024.

Last May 2023, the MT Lab welcomed 5 French companies to Montreal accompanied by the Open Tourism Lab (OTL) located in Nîmes, France.

The companies Visitmoov, Apollo Plus, Skiindoor 4810, Quicktext and Raccourci were able to better understand the market, meet many players in the tourism industry and evaluate the export/implementation potential of their solution.

During their stay in Montreal, they were able to participate in: 

  • A session on the Culture of Business in Quebec
  • A pitch preparation and practice session with the MT Lab team
  • Presentation workshops of Startup Montréal and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Canada
  • A speed-meeting with the MT Lab Major Partners
