Montreal, February 15, 2023 — The MT Lab is pleased to announce the arrival of the City of Mont-Tremblant as the first major partner of the Laurentian region. With this $150,000 agreement spread over three years, the City of Mont-Tremblant intends to position itself as a key reference in the Laurentians for the development of innovative solutions in sustainable tourism, culture and entertainment.

This agreement is in line with the vision of the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan | Destination 2030 and the City of Mont-Tremblant's desire to diversify economic activity on its territory in order to attract non-polluting businesses in emerging sectors of activity, compatible with tourism, vacationing and nature.

The first innovation incubator-accelerator for the world of tourism, culture and entertainment in North America, the MT Lab continues to grow through the prism of sustainable tourism thanks to this new partnership with Mont-Tremblant. Today, the MT Lab supports both the tourism industry and young companies, including Locapaq, Hôtel UNIQ and Navette nature.

Like the other major partners of the MT Lab, Mont-Tremblant will contribute both financially and humanly to the incubator-accelerator's activities throughout the year. The City will be responsible for selecting young companies that are candidates for the MT Lab's National Incubation Program, some of whose innovation solutions could meet its own challenges and needs. It will also join the Circle of Innovators, which promotes the exchange of expertise and ideas, and will thus benefit from access to a wider business network within the tourism ecosystem.

Those interested in benefiting from the MT Lab's support within the Incubation Program during the next year must fill out the form and submit their application before February 19, 2023.
